Stan’s research interests are in three domains. His current primary focus is on the emerging field of robonomics – the theoretical foundations of the automated economy, and the social, economic, and political impacts of the massive introduction of robots, artificial intelligence and automation technologies in the near future. The second domain is tourism and hospitality: revenue management, tourism economics, tourism and economic growth, destination marketing and management, special interest tourism, tour operations, hotel chains, hospitality marketing. Stan is also interested in geopolitics, globalisation and the relationships between economy and politics.
